The lines of research and development of the MNPEF-SBF are organized in order to classify the theses or instructional materials produced by the students as a requirement for obtaining the title of master. We have preliminarily identified three important aspects:

Research Line:

Physics in Elementary School

Area of Concentration: Physics in Basic Education

Development of products and forms of approach aimed at Physics content suitable for elementary school students, in an integrated manner with other subjects.

Research Line:

Physics in High School

Area of Concentration: Physics in Basic Education

Updating the Physics curriculum for High School in order to contemplate results and theories of Contemporary Physics aiming at an adequate understanding of the changes that this knowledge has caused and will cause in the lives of citizens.

Research Line:

Teaching and Learning Processes and Information and Communication Technologies in Physics Teaching

Area of Concentration: Training of Physics Teachers at Master's Level

Development of products and teaching and learning processes that use information and communication technologies such as applications for computers, media for tablets, platform for computer simulations and modeling, automatic data acquisition, cell phones and social networks.
